Beyond The Maw

From the bones of the abyss, life quietly crept back, defiant and strong. While no light reached the depths colors bloomed in the watery grave fed by salt and forgotten memories. And as the tides hums and sighs low as if willing something to grow, the gentle petals unfurled from the burial below.

This original measures 12” x 12” and is mounted to a cradled birch wood panel and was created with watercolor.
