This mini oil painting was created as a way to rediscover oil painting. Oil was my first love, but I’ve spent the last decade focusing primarily on watercolor pieces. This small mushroom and lichen study was completed in oil on a birch wood panel by Trekell that measures 6” This was my first oil painting completed in recent years.
