This pieces was created in the fall of 2021 and was inspired by my own personal journey into Norse mythology. Not much is known about Vör other than she is a handmaiden of Frigga. Her name means “aware” or more specifically ‘’Knowledge out of Darkness,” with the power of clairvoyance and extended wisdom.

The original measures 12” x 12” and was painted with watercolor and gouache on 140lb hot press watercolor paper. The painting was mounted to a Birch wood panel which measures 1” deep.
